Achari Gosht is a wonderfully simple yet mouth watering recipe which hails from the Awadhi cuisine of Uttar Pradesh. Achar means pickle and gosht means meat, and generally goat or lamb is used to make this dish. Achar Goshth got its name due to the presence of Achar or pickling flavours in it like onion seeds, mustard seeds, fennel and fenugreek seeds, which are key ingredients for most Indian pickles.
