This is the vegetarian version of one of the popular Indo-Chinese dish Chicken Manchurian where batter fried vegetable patties or koftas are cooked in a Chinese influenced sauce based thick gravy. As you may have guessed, the flavours are mostly Asian, but with an unmistakable Indian touch to it.
